Progress so far

I knew it wouldn't be long before we would have all the furniture set up and a place to hang our virtual hats.

This is fantastic. It has been a sheer joy watching this come into being from the ground up. We've stuck to our roots and COLLABORATIVELY made this site.

If there's anything you want Tiph (for the most part right now) to do, please don't hesitate to let him know. As soon as I have some time to putter around in the Admin panel, I'll get myself up to snuff and hopefully take sopme of the pressure off him for tweaking things.

Please don't hesitate to contact us and let us know what you'd like to see. Remember, as Tiph pointed out, this is OUR site and it's only through working together we can make it fun for EVERYONE.

Do not panic my children!

The existing address shall always remain, it is the true address of the site, but to the outside we are known as bifrost-bridge.com, typing either address will find the site. A re-direct has been created for the current address, immediately bouncing anyone who enters it, to the new address.

Bifrost Bridge currently has 4446 credits
1600 credits = One year domain registry

A slight change.

The redirect has been removed, so that just in case there seems to be a problem, one still might be able to access the site by way of the old address.

It does not make much of a difference either way, the new address is to allow new users to easily remember the site and submittal to search engines.

There seems to be some extra lag while the site loads.

If others are encountering this please verify it by posting your comments here.

Even though the site name shouldn't matter, everyone should use the new one:

Some more investigating as to precisely how the administrators of forumotion.com handle domain names has to be done. Today the host link, illiweb.com was out of service for a while so it may not be our specific site that is experiencing the lag.

Technically a name change should not cause any problems or lag.
