It seems logical for me that this means the heroes need to hurry, and true, it might be easier to get him while he's being moved, but they don't know any more details. They will have to go to the hospital to find out, they can't sit by and wait for the transport to go away.

Well, they could, but that'd be stupid and due to RAID/Henkel's plan they'd also lose Robert.

They have too few details to know anything for sure and should go out to investigate, only then can they truly begin to rescue Robert. They can stick to the general plan of having Yelena and perhaps one or two others keep an eye on Robert in the hospital and gathering intelligence while the others stand by to jump on the transport once it leaves with Di Vine or something. But if they're not prepared for the unexpected, they'll fail.

So just a question... Di Vine, was going to be moved the next day, right? But, it does seem as if the FBI and the remaining RAID operatives were able to set up in a few hours. So considering, recent events and such, it would be about, say between 8:00 and 10:00 pm when the FBI get the ball rolling.

They will still execute their plan the next morning right? Since the heroes are still a three hour (I think it was a three) drive from New York (not factoring in traffic )

Whatever sounds reasonable to you. But wouldn't it be expected for Jeb's interview to be long before that? Might serve us better if it wasn't quite so late just yet.

Oh, yeah. I was thinking that while Jeb is having his interview, which would be about 5 o'clockish, RAID and the FBI would be in the midst of changing over. I imagine they would be quite subtle, but there would be some noticeable activity.

I guess the move can really occur at any time, even in the middle of the night, which would probably be more advantageous for the Feds. A little late night espionage.

Hopefully this won't be a hitch in the plans, but I was kinda leaning towards Jeb's interview as being a fake, completely orchestrated by Beacon to get him to the hospital, where he can use his powers to facilitate the rescue.

I was also wondering if Tiph could perhaps construct a post to that effect, since he knows Surge better than anyone. During the Limo ride he could introduce Beacon, reveal that the fake interview was their concoction, explain the situation and ask for Jeb's aid.

I love plotting together like this.

One of the beautiful things to consider is that RAID won't necessarily know about Jeb, so he can be an "ace in the hole" for the heroes, so to speak. . .

Well they basically just know that were definitely be a rescue attempt. They aren't exactly sure by who. They would obviously assume, it may be meta-humans that Di Vine, has associated with, and maybe even have some profiles drawn up, but they are basically just on high alert against any rescue attempt.

It would be realistic that the FBI or RAID would have been keeping their eyes on any people entering the hospital, who were not part of the original staff. Job interviews, transfers and the like would fall under scrutiny. Fortunately Jeb's story is totally legitimate, but there still might be a few eyes on him... that it is if they can spare them. With RAID pulling out, and the FBI moving in, they might not have the resources to keep tabs on everyone. I dunno, Socks probably would have far better idea on the dynamics of the law.

I ran out of time last night, so I kind of just ended my post, but at least Toril is in the hospital.

So, with RAID pulling out, their monitoring stations are being dismantled? I believe that's what was said. They wouldn't leave their equipment behind for the FBI. Would they? I am just curious if anyone is keeping an eye on the cameras. Perhaps the FBI would just be using the hospitals existing security system.

Just want to make sure my next post is accurate and it involves the current security, which is a foggy area I do not want to incorrectly set in stone.

Of course they're pulling out, but not until Di Vine is gone will they compromise the security of their prisoner.

The FBI does NOT have any authority over Di Vine and his security is still very much in the hands of RAID. Birkshire is just making use of the FBI's plan as a cover towards the heroes. FBI and RAID happened to have come to a win-win compromise between what they want. It makes no sense for RAID to breakdown anything which might let their defenses be compromised.

New York's Riggs Act enforcers are supposed to "remain hidden". Most of them are undercover or are waiting not far away for the signal to come in. RAID might be thinning out its security detail somewhat so that they can man the convoy without raising any suspicion during the planned extraction, probably many of their people are being replaced by locals as long as its not some kind of critical position which they need to fill. It'd be too obvious RAID was going somewhere if all their agents were suddenly running out the backdoor and towards their vehicles. Those who remain behind will be the ones to unravel their security web when all of it is over, either after the heroes have been spotted and are being taken care of, or several hours after Di Vine has left the building and there is no more reason to keep up appearances.

If people will recall I had placed the surveillance room that RAID had set up in the vacant room beside the Patient Doctor Conference Room (at least I think I did). Toril may have been spotted already! Mu ha ha ha ha ha!

I guess it all really depends on their technology... in real life they are still struggling with facial recognition software, but it will definitely one day be a reality, there is no denying it. Since it is currently not ready for general use, I guess it should be put out of play.

Modified my post a little, I forgot that R.A.I.D. was laying low. So, Toril had ran into a FBI agent at the third floor door to the stairwell.

It's getting close to some action and should be around or past interview time for Jeb, although it's not difficult to squeeze in the post at this point. Toril needs some backup!

Well...he's got company in the vacinity now.

Now...all we need is for KEVIN to post for Jeb and we can get this show on the road.

Yeah, I'll just get Toril to check on his patient in 304, and wait to see what Kev has cooked up.

Toril isn't really sure what his plan is going to be, he's just basically waiting for the other heroes or his supposed partner to show up. Since he's actually a geneticist he can pull off all the testing believably, but I am thinking he could probably only stall for about half an hour before other nurses and doctors might question him.

I set Kev a post but he hasn't read it yet. He might be busy. We can move slow and wait for him to post.
