"The name's Strom." Replied the German as he walked over to the Scottish woman extending his hand, but it was only to take the coin from her, "And you are again?" he asked as he turned to Yerrick holding his hand out for the third coin, "They need to be immersed in holy water to properly dispel them." Strom explained.

As he held his hand out containing the other two coins, he looked down at the Russian's wounds and winced. "Those look nasty." he commented looking none to guilty about his own injuries amounting only to a few scratches. "I have some antiseptic in my truck and a medical kit so you can fix yourself up, but it looks like you might need some stitches. I have that too, but I'm no doctor."

Jayden looked at Yerrick then at Strom and shook her head. "Nice of ye ta think aboot ye oon gender, Strom and forgo the other. I suppose ye can be helping Yerrick oot of here, I be gettin' ta the auto. Holy water, ye say.......I be having that in me bag. Not much of it, mind ye but enough to put into a cup and drop these nasty things into. If'n ye doan want ta be doin' the stitchin', I can do it. Done it afore an' can do it agin."

She walked off, blood dripping from her own left hand from the deep cuts on her forearm and removing her shredded suede jacket. That had more upset than anything as it had been her father's cut down to fit her.

Strom muttered something under his breath in his native tongue then tossed then handed the coins to, Jayden. "Great, let the coins sit immersed in the holy water for over twelve hours to rid them of their ability to raise the dead. While you two are mending your wounds, I've a wolf to trap."

The German started to make his way out of the cemetery, stepping over the corpses then paused, looking around him. "First, though I believe I best get my shovel and take care of the evidence."

“That would be nice.” Commenting on the painkillers and antiseptic stuff the German could offer him as he looked down to his broken arm slowly grabbing hold of the wrist gritting his teeth with iron will he straightened it slightly biting his lip hard enough for his teeth to cut it he would need a splint for it.

He went and picked up the revolver and with some difficulty he pulled the silver bullets from his pocket holding them out to Strom before the man was going to walk away for his shovel. “Was useful.” Placing these in the man’s grasp he began to walk away to the car rifling through some pockets to remove a phone which he toned a number and began speaking in rather rapid Russian into wincing whenever his arm moved a little too much.

Yerick had been on the phone for a while before suddenly he looked at the phone slightly stunned he had been hung up but he expected no less from the no.1 hated hunter in Russia at this current moment by hunters and abominations alike. He sighed as he shivered slightly as finally not shock but adrenalin finally ran out on him.

Jayden's steps faltered at Strom's words about trapping a wolf, anger surging through her but she didn't stop. "Insensitive ass", she muttered to herself. But, she also knew that finding the werewolf was most important, she was simply feeling the stress of the recent battle and the pain of her own wounds. She then realized that all Strom had were a few scratches.

She reached the car and opened the trunk and lifted out a small chest. It was a rectangle, about two feet long and a foot, a foot and a half wide and a foot deep. A deep brown color, it had a pentacle in the center on the lid and on the front, protective Celtic runes carved into the wood around the pentacles, on each end, front, back, top and bottom. She pulled a small key from around her neck and opened it. The inside was lined with a blue felt like type material with a removable shelf. She took out the shelf which had various religious icons, her most precious being a Celtic cross. Beneath the shelf were more items. A wooden bowl with a locking lid, inscribe with various protective markings. A large flask, again protective symbols covering it, sat there filled with holy water. There was also candles inscribed with ancient symbols, crystals, and athame and so on.

She lifted the bowl out and turning the lid til she heard the click, unlocked and opened it. Next, she put the coins into the bowl and opened the flask, pouring just enough holy water over the coins to cover them with about two inches of the water. They sizzled, the water bubbling before calming. Replacing the lid, turning it till she heard the locking click, she then replaced it back into the bottom of the small chest and replaced the shelf before closing and locking it, returning it to the trunk.

Next, she took out a large first aid kit and a leather bag. "C'mon Yerrick!! We haven't got all night to fix ourselves up. We need to be huntin' a beast." She took off her jacket, looking at the tears in it. "Sorry, Da.....looks like I 'ave ruined ye'er overcoat."

Yerick watched as she slapped the coins in the water and her rather sullen mood at the coat. He frowned as she said Da but he sat down on the trunk edge as she opened that huge first aid kit. “bandages and splint.” Requesting what he wanted done as his arm was screaming at him to rest but like they had said there was still a beast on the prowl and stitches would take too long so tight wrapping would have to do. “I guess acrobatics are out of the window for my next stage.” As she wrapped the bandages around the arm tightly and slapped some wood to each side of it he took the remnants of his own coat off with some of her help so she could slap a pad across his back and seeing a lack of bandages he pulled duct tape from his pocket and began slapping it onto the others it was one of his favourite inventions of man duct tape standing slowly he held one of the silver bullets to the light Strom probably had no idea he had covertly swapped on of the silvers with a chrome one and it wasn’t like he would be missing it after his services in the graveyard.

“We got any leads on where this beast is if it ain’t here?” Slipping the bullet back into his coat he slipped back into the tatters of his coat it still held some valuable items in its pockets. He unsheathed his knife finding it still sharp as ever as he turned it in the light it was all he needed in his mind. The knife had gotten him through thick and thin of the worst things it had been his weapon of choice a mad glint reigniting in his eye. “On your lead Jayden I have run out of ideas except just strolling through the woods up on the scene as they are territorial beasts.”

Jayden didn't answer Yerrick right away. Instead, she ripped off her left sleeve from the shoulder, revealing three deep gashes in her forearm that were still seeping blood. She rummaged through the large first aid kit until she found some more 4x4 pieces of gauze and spandex wrapping. She gritted her teeth as she poured alcohol over the wounds from the bottle in the kit, then squirted antibiotic ointment over them. Next, she layered three pieces of gauze over the wounds and then wrapped the spandex wrapping around them. It wasn't easy to do one-handed, but she managed and taped off the end of the wrap. She then packed everything away, placed the box with the bowl of holy water and three coins into a lock box located in the rear of the trunk, chanted a few words of protection and shut the lid.

She'd grabbed the shotgun and pistol, extra silver rounds, made sure both weapons were loaded and looked at Yerrick. "Well, since the German didn't wait, I guess we simply hunt. Ye think ye can keep up, Russian? I not be waitin fer ye." She turned and jogged in the direction she knew Strom had gone.

Watched her do her arm with some efficiency for one armed he had been about to offer his one working arm but thought it best to let the independent women do it on her own he stared off slightly thinking over some history as he waited for a man in his state he was holding on well. She asked him if he thought he could keep up he spewed off his Russian Da which almost everyone knew was yes in Russian. As he set after her when she began jogging holding his knife in his good hand.

Yerick’s grin was slowly growing wider at the anticipation of meeting this werewolf this was one hell of a day in his books it had been such a long time since he had met beasts and abominations in quick order. Kill ‘em all had always been the way as he followed the women with some difficulty knowing full well he probably was carrying a lot more stuff than her in his coat and on his belt pouches of random bullets and knives none of it helped in his exhausted state. He looked left and right to mark their surrounding in his mind in case they didn’t find anything today and they could investigate in the broad area they were running in.

The wind whistled through the now sparse branches of the dense brush, scattering Autumn leaves across the long winding driveway that connected Jo Jo road to an old two story home nestled deep in the woods, far away from prying eyes. Stepping out of his truck, a burly man of average height closed the door behind him, a door that bore a business logo that read, 'Traeger's Trucking'. Silhouetted in the pale moonlight that shone through the branches above, the man paused and stared up into the night sky for a few moments, then continued on and into the house, only to emerge a few minutes later carrying something heavy in his arms. As he crossed the field of dirt that was the front yard the man tripped and dropped his bundle; the heavy chain clanged loudly as it struck the ground, then cursing under his breath the man scooped it up and continued on his way.

There were many other buildings on the property. An old barn, a few sheds, a garage and workshop, but the man made his way to the structure which was furtherest away which was an old storage shed, dug into the ground. Clumsily he walked down the few stone steps and through the door and tossed the chains into a dark corner before he reached over and turned on an electric lantern. Anxiously he stroked his thick beard as he checked a box of provisions he had left on a bench, then turned and closed the door behind him, but even as he began to lock it behind him he could hear the call beckoning to him. Closing his eyes he forced the door closed and locked it, then proceeded to unravel the chain he had tossed in the corner and bind it to a heavy chair that had been fastened to the wall. As he worked away the howls persisted, and his blood began to burn. He was racing against time — against the change, but would he make it this night? His mind was on fire, all day he had wavered in out of consciousness, transforming from who he believed he was to something else — something dark and evil. It was as if this presence were consuming him and it felt good, but he knew it was wrong, he had to stop himself before it was too late! Before —

The man wrapped the heavy chains around him, bind them with a pad lock, the key to which he thrust into his pocket. He knew the beast would not be able to use it, but would it really need to? Outside of the storage shed the sound of in-human growls could be heard, followed by a blood curdling howl.

By the time that Jayden and Yerrick had patched themselves up, Strom had finished disposing of the dead bodies. His initial decision to bury all the corpses would take too long so he piled them up in the burning pit and tossed some gasoline on the fire to accelerate it. All that would be left would be charred remains, so even if there was any 'undead' remaining in any of them they wouldn't be going anywhere.

Walking back to his truck, Strom tossed his jerry can and shovel into the back then sat down for a moment. Wiping the sweat and black smudges from his face with the back of his sleeve, the German lit up a smoke and glanced over at the other two hunters.

"You two got any idea where you are going?" He asked them as he exhaled a long trail of smoke then simultaneous with his question came the haunting howl of wolf upon the night wind.

It was difficult to tell specifically from where the sound had originated but Strom just smiled and looked southwest from the cemetery, toward Jo Jo Road. On the other side of several acres of forest was a road that ran west to east and off it was the home of a one Rick Traeger, the trucker who had tried to ram into Strom's truck earlier that day. It was he that the German suspected was a lycanthrope, but feared that there were others.
