It is true that there is nothing like face-to-face games over the tabletop. Like you said, there's the human factor (and I confess, I miss opportunities to use my repertoire of funny voices when I'm not tabletop RPing...)! And while this little world of ours surely doesn't replace that dynamic, the stories are a load of fun in their own way, as I'm sure you will discover.
