Wanted to introduce myself.. Ive been around since the days that yahoo clubs were predominant in writing anything. Then Yahoo started to restrict what could or could not be written freely; yahoo went to Yahoo Groups as did a few other web links like Hotmail. A friend introduced me to PG rated Roleplay in Delphi. I played a few roles there and got better writing. Dark Poet invited me to HOF (Hangin Out Forums) I have several characters there but there writing isnt collab. writing so I knew Sin tara from there and we write together a lot of stories. I like to write, add some realistic stuff or history to my writing... Sin says a lot of good things about this forum so I hope to bring a lot of new fresh storylines or at least particpate when I can. My outside activities...

Im a Shooting Sports instructor for 4-H and teach kids to shoot black powdewr muzzleloaders and shotguns; I'm Sir Knight with the Knights of Columbus and live by the sword...and Im employed as a Safety Specialist so do accident investigations thaqt sometimes takes me away from my pleasures after work...

Well, you'll find that some of us, including myself said good bye to our 20's a long time ago. I think it pretty cool that our average age here would most likely be calculated to be 40. Well we can thank Lac for raising it. (I actually made a dig Lac... so not me)

And YOU'RE A KNIGHT! Cool! My wife's Catholic, so naturally they are big part of many of the services.

Add all the history you want! We LOVE it when people enrich stories with detail and add depth. The deeper the better is my motto.

About me...hmmm...

Well, the name is James, but most just call me JD. I've been online about 3 or 4yrs. I'm a typical working schmuck Nothing fancy. A couple of years ago, my sister DarkPoet got me playing Baldur's Gate, then online forums gaming. Now I game at a couple of sites.

I'm still reading around here, so I might not post any game action for a while, but I do have a character in mind to use. I'm just not sure where I might want to use him yet.

You gotta be careful where you drop in something like an evil sorcerer, wizard, etc., especially if he likes to do things that make decent folk cringe just thinking about them. I've noticed the nasty buggers don't tend to be well liked, at least not by the other characters. It must be the mean streak, and the tendency to experiment and torture. It seems most people get a little offended when someone peels them, skin and all.

Shrugs...I can't understand why...Nasty bugger is just trying to get the heart of the matter, and maybe roast it. You know how it is...Right? Grin.

Well, I gotta head out. I'll check the place out more later.
