| I figure the group could use an good rest period. They have been going strong for quite some time and Jack needs to get some help for his wound. ____________________________________________________________________________________ No chain, no lock, this train won't stop.

| Aye it would be nice to have some time for dialogue and a little more character development while not dodging arrows and swords. ____________________________________________________________________________________ |

| Thanks again and take your time, Dann.
I figured this will give all of us a break in having to post something because of a lot of action taking place. Not to mention, as Tiph stated, allow for some much needed dialogue between the Elves and Lac as well as dialogue between our different characters. ____________________________________________________________________________________ No chain, no lock, this train won't stop.

| Yes superbly written. The Golden Wood has many secrets yet to be revield and the Elves know much more than they first appear to know. |

| Awesome. This is good place to hang out for a while.
We have not heard from Krakyn in some time, nor has he replied to any of his PM's. I feel that in his absence instead of just dragging Beldegir along, that I might run him as an additional character. Of course he is still, Krakyn's but it seems a pity to not have more dialogue with the Dwarf. We have all on occasion directed him, but what say I bring him to life a little more, as can we all from time to time. He seems a good character to use as a liaison.
What say you all? ____________________________________________________________________________________ |

| I think that would be a very good idea, Tiph. When Krakyn comes back he can resume writing for Beldegir but until then, have at it. ____________________________________________________________________________________ No chain, no lock, this train won't stop.

| Actually, I have had another idea... "Lightning has struck me brain"... What if we do a little switcharoo.
I was thinking that a comrade of Beldegir's could arrive with news that his lands are in peril and that they require his assistance. He will have no choice to lead, but appoint this Dwarven soldier to assist the party in his stead.
This new Dwarven character can be a true 'Community Character' then, and Beldegir can return to the group when Krakyn returns. At that point and time we can decide whether or not to keep around the new Dwarven character. How does that sound?
I'll whip a character and graphic and bring him at some time and until then we'll just pull Beldegir along.
Part of my login in this thinking, is that Tiphereth's fighting skills have not really been needed it most of the fighting scenarios thus far, and so I am just going to play him as more of a Bard... providing some inspiration, documenting events when needed and helping when required. In truth, his magical skills are very Druidic — Elemental and Healing, but thus far he has not had much of an opportunity to utilize his healing spells, as he is yet an outsider to the group.
The new Dwarven character can assist in the battles when required. I'll write him in at an appropriate time and I'll provide a lot of history for him in a character sketch so that anyone can run him. ____________________________________________________________________________________ |

| I like that idea, infact he could be summoned away by the fact that the Dwarven King has died. The clans must elect a new king and a gathering of a grand council has been ordered to accomplish that. As the clans were united under the one king, now there is a void that must be filled and as in all political voids, old rivalries and power grabs are inevitable. He, being a clan leader, could then order the new Dwarf to act in his stead vowing him to assist LAc, Ssinjin and the others. And renewing the alliance that once bound his race to the races of Elf and Man. Thoughts? |

| Actually I have an idea already that will work, but I like the idea of Beldegir being called away because the Dwarven King has passed. That will work perfectly. The Dwarf's name will be Othegarr 'White-tail' Ironhearth. I will write a detailed history about his 'House' or 'Clan' and incorporate his coming with the death of the King. Othegarr is of a different House than Beldegir and their families are actually rivals. After I write-up his character sketch and post it, you are all welcome to modify and add to it in the case that my details stray too much from the unforeseen future. Edit - I will also maintain your idea, Lac of the Dwarves requiring an ambassador, so-to-speak. ____________________________________________________________________________________ |

| From most of my reading Dwarven society was made up of clans as opposed to houses. But that is just my perpective. |
